Oh the fun of the holiday season! The decorations are away and the house is back to normal. There was a demon cold bug for about three and a half weeks. Most of January and February. It has finally been killed off.  And we are getting back to  ourselves.

It’s also unusually warm this season. Today it rained. In February. It’s rather nice and scary at the same time. The picture made me think of travel and summer, warm times and free time 🙂 Have fun and enjoy 🙂

Let’s start with the first prompt of a new year!

Well. The past weeks happened. Still feeling fuzzy and confused. Having a hard time getting my head around what to do next. So I thought I’d put the next prompt up. With Thanksgiving coming up I wanted to think about something better. Something beyond what’s happening in my head.  The word is rather fun too 🙂 Remember, we aim for flash fiction, but, short stories, blog posts, etc. are welcome. Leave a link to your work in the comments 🙂

And Summer Ends

And Autumn has arrived. The heat was just awful this year. My brain went into a humid limbo for months. Thoughts and ideas weren’t making appearances. Motivation took a long holiday. And then there was the idea of changing this from flash fiction to include all sorts of genres.

I do want to keep the items short. Quick looks into a picture. However, as of now it can be a flash fiction story, a micro story, a short poem or blog post. Whatever you can do with 500 words and under. The rules still apply though. Risky, but not vulgar. Keep it respectful. Anything found inappropriate will be removed.

Sounds like a good plan, yes?

Yes 🙂

For our upcoming Fall, enjoy 🙂
